Consultancy and Advisory work

Public international law is one of the fastest growing areas of practice of law worldwide; due in particular, to the increasing number of international tribunals and panels.  Moreover, the globalisation of legal services and diversification of practice is a growing feature in the practice of law at present.  More and more cases have international law components and settlements of disputes at the domestic level have increasingly transnational elements.

I have experience advising States, Academic Institutions, Non-Governmental Organisations, Individuals, and Solicitors firms requiring specialised knowledge in areas of my expertise at international level (such as treaty negotiations, State responsibility, the laws of war, international human rights law, the law of treaties, international criminal law, foreign corrupt practices, as well as forum for international dispute settlement and legal strategy) and on international law aspects in domestic claims such as in the area of Extradition.  Recent Advisory work has included providing consultancy services to Leiden Law School (Leiden University), Stern Business School New York University, the Human Dignity Trust, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Janes Solicitors.
